If you’re searching for a fun weekend activity, head to the Corradetti Glassblowing Studio & Gallery. It’s where you can shop for unique handmade pieces as well as learn to create your own. Corradetti welcomes all abilities and offers several classes and workshops sure to enhance your skills. Here is some of what you can enjoy at this glassblowing studio near our Millersville apartments:

Beginner Glassblowing

Introducing this unique art form, Beginner Glassblowing highlights the glassblowing tools and equipment. Students practice creating basic shapes. They leave class with a finished blown cylindrical piece and can move on to the Next Steps sessions. Remember to bring lunch and a pair of sunglasses.

Wavy Bowls Mini Workshop

Step into the fiery studio to create a wavy bowl. You can choose from an array of colors, and the bowl is sure to look great on your end table. Skilled glassblowers will help you every set of the way. The size and shapes of the bowls vary, so no two are quite the same. You can pick up our finished creation two days after the workshop. This allows time for proper cooling. Email the studio to schedule a private session for you and a friend.

Paperweight Mini Workshop

Add a colorful paperweight to your desk. The staff will handle the setup while you take over the finishing fun. The paperweights also make for great gift. Just like the wavy bowls, they take two days to cool. Be sure and email the studio to arrange a private lesson.

After enjoying some time at the Corradetti Glassblowing Studio & Gallery, grab a Mexican pizza from a nearby Millersville restaurant. You can enjoy your pie topped with jalapenos, olives, and more.
